4. Sacrificing Wealth and All One Has for the Sake of Wilayah

Lady Khadijah al-Kubra (peace be upon her) devoted all her wealth to strengthening the religion and exalting the religion of Muhammad. Lady Zaynab al-Kubra (peace be upon her) likewise gave up everything she had (children and ...) to preserve the religion and the wilayah of Husayn.

The sacrifice of Lady Khadijah, peace be upon her:

Khadijah! And where is the like of Khadijah? She believed me when people called me a liar, she stood by me in the religion of God, and she helped me in it with her wealth. Indeed, God, Mighty and Exalted, has commanded me to give Khadijah the glad tidings of a house in Paradise made of emerald reeds, in which there is neither noise nor toil and weariness.

Lady Khadijah (peace be upon her) had abundant wealth, and she spent it in support of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) during his time in the Shi'b [of Abi Talib].

She gave her wealth for the spread of Islam and bore many hardships in the way of God, and her station was above the level of piety and trustworthiness.

The sacrifice of Lady Zaynab:

Lady Umm al-Masa'ib Zaynab al-Kubra (peace be upon her), whose entire existence was sacrificed for her brother Imam Husayn (peace be upon him)

It is enough to show the patience and endurance of the Lady 'Aqilah that, when both her sons were martyred, she did not come out of the tent
