Some Aspects of Resemblance Between the Two Ladies

1. The Title "Kubra"

Both ladies are known by the title "Kubra": «Lady Khadijah was called Khadijah Kubra, and Lady Zaynab was called Zaynab Kubra». Their other titles are recorded in separate sources:

Titles of Lady Khadijah:

طاهرة (The Pure), مبارکة (The Blessed), صدّیقة (The Truthful), راضیة (The Content), کبری (The Great), سیدة النسوان (Leader of Women), غرّاء (The Radiant), زکیّه (The Pure-hearted), سیدة البطحاء (Lady of Batha), ملیکة العرب (Queen of the Arabs), سیدة الحرم (Lady of the Sanctuary), ام‌المؤمنین (Mother of the Believers), ام‌الزهراء (Mother of Zahra), وعاء الامامة (Vessel of the Imamate), وزیرة صدق (Minister of Truth)

Titles of Lady Zaynab:

عقیلة بنی هاشم (Noble Lady of Banu Hashim), عقیلة الطالبیین (Noble Lady of the Talibids), عقیلة العرب (Noble Lady of the Arabs), عقیلة النساء (Noble Lady of Women), صدیقة صغری (The Lesser Siddiqa), صدیقة الحرمین (Siddiqa of the Two Sanctuaries), قدّیسة الحوراء (The Holy Hawra), شریکة الحسین (Partner of Husayn), ام‌المصائب (Mother of Calamities), نائبة الزهراء (Deputy of Zahra), سلیلة الزهراء (Descendant of Zahra), روح الحسین (Spirit of Husayn), ام‌الکرمین (Mother of the Two Noble Ones), عالمة غیر معلّمة (Learned Without a Teacher)

2. Intellect and Wisdom

Lady Khadijah (peace be upon her):

و کانت سیّدتنا خدیجة من اجمل نساء القریش و اعقلها، و کانت تسمّی بملیکة العرب و تعرف بسیّدة البطحاء

Lady Khadijah was our mistress and leader, and the most intelligent woman among the women of Quraysh; she was called the Queen of the Arabs and was known as the Lady of Batha.

إن خدیجة مِنْ أَحْسَنِ النِّسَاءِ جَمَالاً وَ أَكْمَلِهِنَّ عَقْلاً وَ أَتَمِّهِنَّ رَأْياً، وَ أَكْثَرِهِنَّ عِفَّةً وَ دِيناً وَ حَيَاءً وَ مُرُوَّةً وَ مَالاً

Indeed, Khadijah was among the most beautiful of women, the most perfect of them in intellect, the most complete in judgment, and the most abundant in chastity, faith, modesty, chivalry and wealth.

Lady Zaynab: In a similar narration, it is also said about the Noble Lady of the Arabs, Zaynab Kubra (peace be upon her):

وَ کَانَتْ زَیْنَبُ اِمْرَأَةً عَاقِلَةً لَبیبَةً جَزْلَةً

Zaynab was an intelligent, wise and sharp-minded woman.

And about her sermon in Yazid's palace:

وَ هُوَ یَدُلُّ عَلَی عَقْلٍ وَ قُوَّةِ جَنَانٍ

This sermon indicates the intellect and the strength of heart of Lady Zaynab.
