Eighth Poem — Upon the Prophet's return from his journey to Sham

The beloved whom my heart longed for has returned from his journey, while the sun had left its mark upon his face.

I am astonished at the sun, that it kissed the cheek of my beloved, when it is not fitting for the sun to reach the moon.
